Carolyn Krieger-Cohen

Carolyn Krieger-Cohen, owner of CKC Public Relations, has earned a stellar reputation as a respected public relations consultant over the course of her 30-year career. Carolyn’s client roster has always been 100% referral-based.

She works with small to midsize companies that share her positive energy and dedication to enhancing people’s lives in entertaining, empowering ways.

Promoting people, places and projects is Carolyn’s personal passion. She thrives on cleverly attracting the media’s attention, presenting targeted story ideas to producers, reporters, editors, writers and news directors in interesting, informative and imaginative ways.

Carolyn holds a bachelor’s degree in communication arts from Michigan State University. She has also served as promotion director for three metropolitan Detroit radio stations, and was honored as Outstanding Woman in Radio Mid-Management by the American Women in Radio and Television.

Lauren Maiman

Lauren Maiman graduated Cum Laude from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish. After working as a writer for Style Magazine, Maiman joined CKC Public Relations in March 2007. She oversees all of the firm’s accounts and focuses on media releases, social networking, web development and media coaching.

In addition, Maiman has extensive experience freelance writing for magazines and newspapers as well as styling photo shoots for a variety of publications. She also works as the Director of Public Relations for Camp Casey, a Michigan-based nonprofit horseback riding program for kids with cancer and their families.

Alison Schwartz

United Kingdom-native Alison was a journalist in London before moving to Michigan 12 years ago. After gaining her degree in anatomy and cell biology from the University of Sheffield, she trained as a journalist with the Westminster Press group.

Alison was the clinical news editor of a weekly newspaper for doctors (Pulse) and health editor of a national monthly women’s magazine (Essentials), before moving to a national best-selling women’s weekly magazine (Woman). At Woman, she served as the health editor for seven years until her move to the US. Alison also regularly contributed to the health page of The Telegraph Magazine and freelanced for many other national magazines and newspapers. She loves thinking of creative ways to promote clients, and has no qualms about reaching for the stars on their behalf.

Jesse Jabbori

Jesse Jabbori has a proven track record in office organization and event planning. After studying creative writing at Seaholm High School and through college, as well as taking photography classes, she became an administrative assistant with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and started event planning. She has organized baby showers, birthdays, auto show receptions, private events and fund-raisers.

Jesse interned with CKC Public Relations and was immediately recognized as an enthusiastic, creative and efficient member of the team. She spearheads all event coordination for CKC Public Relations.

 

Deanna Reyes

Los Angeles-native Deanna Reyes has over 10 years experience
working in public relations, marketing and brand development. She joins CKC  Public Relations after owning her own boutique PR firm, the PR Shop, where she  represented women’s fashion, accessory and lifestyle clients. Most recently,  Deanna launched a major celebrity charity event attended by Hollywood’s social elite, which raised nearly $30,000 for an animal rescue organization.

Deanna’s career as a communications expert has allowed her
to work in a variety of fields – from entertainment and fashion, to education,  child advocacy, non-profit and the corporate sector. Her passion lies in developing creative, out-of-the-box solutions for clients, and helping to build and strengthen brands.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of LaVerne, and continues to freelance write often.
